The Challenge to Change   Method (CTCM) offers a solution that not only makes change achievable but also sustainable.

 

CTCM Training & Treatment adopts a pragmatic, person-centered approach to healing and recovery. Participants receive the necessary strategies and support to initiate and maintain proactive change. Grounded in the principles of Proactive Living, Self-Mastery, and the Reconstruction of the Generational System of Origin, CTCM equips individuals with the tools to transform their lives.

This training incorporates a diverse range of tools and therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Modification Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Goal Setting, Interactive Journaling, Success Tracking, and ongoing Accountability. This comprehensive blend ensures program participants receive actionable tools they can immediately implement.

 

Empowered by the data derived from the Generational Review process, CTCM participants uncover the root causes of poor performance, emotion-driven dependencies, chemical dependencies, and abusive or dysfunctional behaviors. Upon completing the program, graduates experience heightened confidence and self-awareness. They become more adept at effective communication and self-advocacy, handling their needs and expectations productively while maintaining long-term positive changes.

BEHAVIORAL
THERAPIES

Our programs combine multiple psychotherapeutic approaches.

​

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combines the primary principle of BEHAVIORAL THERAPY, that all types of behaviors are learned and can therefore be changed, with principles of COGNITIVE THERAPY, which indicates that negative or dysfunctional thinking leads to dysfunctional emotions and/or behaviors.

 

This combination focuses on empowering the person to change their behavior by gaining an understanding of the history of their thoughts and emotions. 

​

Humanistic therapy (HT) which provides our program participants with the life skills and decision-making strategies they need to make rational decisions when faced with difficult choices and accept responsibility for their actions, which in turn aids in the development of their maximum potential. 

​

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) works in conjunction with CBT, HT, and the Generational System Review Process to empower participants to set goals, establish boundaries, and to be able to view themselves as worthy and capable of leading a rich and meaningful life.

 

This is achieved through mindfulness techniques, proactive living, and self-mastery.

REVIEW

Our trademarked Generational System Review Process is what makes our process one of the most effective methods for sustainable life change. 

 

The generational review process trains clients on how to explore and self-identify the root cause(s) behind the development of their unhealthy thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors.  

​

They gain an understanding of not only why they think, feel, believe, and do the things they do.

 

The Generational Review process also enables them to identify specifically when and from whom the dysfunctional mindset and habits started. 

​

The step-by-step review process can be applied to any situation or obstacle they are facing for the remainder of their life.

PROACTIVE LIVING 
& SELF-MASTERY

This approach shifts the paradigm from past and present-focused to future-focused, with the goal being self-mastery that leads to ongoing proactive improvements that are sustained over time.   

 

Proactive Living: The practice of making every choice based on forward-facing thoughts, with a targeted desired outcome. As opposed to making reactionary decisions based on your past experiences and very little, if any, thought about the consequences.

​

Self-Mastery: Becoming intentionally engaged in reclaiming authority over every aspect of your being. Including your beliefs, your impulses, your choices, and your actions.
